If you're looking for a solid deadcat for your expensive schoeps, this is the one to get. Sturdy as anything Rycote makes. Comes with a little comb which I thought was a wasteful use of plastic (really? you want me to comb out the hair on this?) but other than that it's great. Crisp sound in wind and since I am mostly the CMIT in a run-n-gun doc/journalism set up I like the extra protection from bumps this gives me relative to a standard mic wind screen. 5 |

The case is designed to accommodate a single or double barrel with an over all length of 34. The single barrels on my TriStar TT15 and Browning BT99 will not fit in the case without removing their extended choke tubes. The frame on the TriStar with the adjustable comb fits extremely snug. Some individuals may adjust their combs somewhat higher than mine. This could result in their having to readjust the comb to fit or returning the case. Over all A Great product! 5 |
