Strings Instruments Tone Colors

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation.

I have always used 10's on all my electric guitars. After watching a YouTube video that compared the tone of different gauge strings, I decided to switch to lighter strings. I'm really surprised that these don't feel too light for me. They have a clearer tone than the D'Addario 10's I was using.

I've been familiar with Ibanez instruments for decades, and owned one in my college days. After an accident recovery and 20 years of not being able to play bass, I recently decided to take up playing again. I anticipated a low budget instrument, with all the normal flaws associated - but this surprised me. The body is lovely, and although not exceptionally weighty, it's heavy enough to give great tone and sustain. Frets are nicely inlaid, and free from chatter. In fact, aside from a very slight intonation adjustment on the G string, this instrument plays as well as some much more expensive bodies. The active bass boost is a bit of a gimmick, but tone is quite diverse and dynamic. Tone tends toward being very bright, but it easy to attenuate. All together satisfied.

I purchased the 1500 case to carry delicate optical and photographic instruments, and the ruggedness of the case is very reassuring with the delicate instruments in side. While extremely rugged, the weight is not excessive due to the moderate size of the case. I like it that it is available in non common colors such as yellow. It makes it easier to locate the case in the presence of standard color (usually black) cases in situations like claiming the bag at an airport baggage turnstile. I would suggest adding other colors like blue and red.

Not the best on skin tone (so beware!), but looks amazing when used in the outdoors. Everything is richer... looks like I used Photoshop to make the colors pop!

The most beautiful paper I have used. It wakes up the colors in a nice soft rich tone with a wonderful soft finish. Prints come to life and look real rather than hard processed photos. It is expensive but if you want to see your work in a new light give it a try. Be sure to download and use the correct profile
