Now, for sure this isn't the fanciest suction cup mount you can get, or the strongest, but...you have to think about this in terms of price - 1st up it will carry a 5dmkII (I haven't tried it with a heavy tele lense - but why would you want to mount that on a suction cup?).Also - it's small - which means you can stick it to your windscreen, and it's relatively discreet for shooting internals - your passenger won't constantly be eyeballing it.a couple of cons are: it's a * ache to mount the camera - and get it off. Setting up a shot can take a while as you have to keep running outside the car (unless you have an external monitor), and... ok then, it would be nice if it supported *just* a little more weight, but:In terms of bang for your buck it's going to be hard to find anything that does what it says, with the build quality - which is a BIG plus - that can beat it, in the whole shop. 5 |
