Studio Display Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Poly Studio R30 display camera bar is great. This has a clamp that is included so that you can tilt the camera to the angle needed. This has been great for my meetings for Microsoft teams as it captures everyone in the room. I like that this auto focuses on the person that is talking. Clear display, sound quality and operates smoothly. The microphone picks up excellent. This has usb connections and the cords are included. This also can be mounted on a tripod asp well. Definitely a great product.

This adapter worked without anything needed except to plug it into a Thunderbolt 4 port on my Mac Studio, power up my Apple LED Cinema Display and plug its minidisplayport connection into the adapter. The display is fully functional including the three connection usba hub on the back of the display. My Mac Studio running Ventura 13.1 recognizes the display and it is shown along with all of its functions in the displays settings on Ventura. I am using the LED Cinema Display as an extended display with an Apple Studio Display as the main display. Everything works beautifully.

I switched to a Mac Studio recently after spending the last 10 years editing video on iMac, and this monitor holds up incredibly well. No, it is not a 5K Retina display. However, it is about $1,000 less expensive than an Apple Display, and after using it for two weeks, I'm not noticing any major differences. The color and the resolution are high quality and very suitable for editing 4K video. This monitor also connects directly to the Mac Studio through a USB-C, and it started right up the first time. (I had read reviews that firmware needed to be updated on the monitor to use the USB-C connection, but I didn't not experience this). The 31.5 display is also a nice upgrade over the 27 iMac - that extra bit of real estate is always welcome. It takes up about the same amount of space on my desk as the iMac did. The matte screen is also great. The Retina Displays were too glossy with too many reflections, whereas this monitor minimizes and soften reflections. I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to an Apple Display, I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor.

This was a very nice display that I bought with my new Mac Studio computer.

The cable supplied with the Studio Display was way too short to fit to my CPU. This one fit the bill.

The missing piece to connect my Apple LED Cinema Display to my new Mac Studio.

Great product, well made, easy to use -- the range of length is very useful; I use this product in my studio to provide a monitor in some situations, and when not in use, simply adjust the height and the TV display goes up into the space between rafters. Of particular note is the ball-head adjustment, which allows the display to be tilted in various directions, really useful.

After researching for weeks, it was obvious that getting the Studio Display was the only choice to pair up with my new Mac Studio. After all the were designed to work seamlessly with each other...which they do! Pictures and text are amazingly clear. Editing photos becomes more accurate because one can see so clearly. The only substandard aspect of the Studio Display are the built in speakers. There are OK for for Zoom calls but for music, I use Airplay to my Sonos System for a much fuller sound.

I like to print at home and I probably spent 90 hours trying to get my windows PC to print accurately. I switched to mac years ago and now I'm running a mac studio with studio display. This display looks EXACTLY like my prints (although they aren't quite as high-resolution). This means a lot.
