Studio Equipment For Music Interface

I use this in an interface rack with other equipment.

For anyone passionate about composing and recording music at home, away from a commercial studio, this product is ideal. There are 4 XLR / 1/4'' inputs with preamps, and the interface also has 48V phantom power so mics can bus power from the device itself. I was used to just running directly into my computer and having this interface made a world of a difference. A musician friend actually turned me onto it. I can have bass, guitar, synth, and microphone all connected at once, with zero noticeable latency. Also, the connection and the quality of the audio I record is pristine. I would recommend this project to anyone and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Exactly what I needed to interface studio console to computer and vice versa. Noise free, totally transparent. Will probably buy more for other equipment interfaces. I have other Rolls equipment so I knew it would be good. They make quality stuff.

As a music producer, you get used to the way studio quality equipment sounds and you get used to your environment. But every once in awhile a simple, inexpensive tool just blindside's you and it's a special moment where a simple recording of something you may not have intended to record becomes the anchor of a whole song. Having one of these around allows you to get out of your regular context and dip into the unexpected. It's an absolute no-brainer when you consider the probability, ease of use and of course affordability!! So worth it.
