The HAUC Active Stereo Headphone Control Box by Whirlwind fits the bill perfectly for studio headphone control. Easily mounted under the desk, it is a solid piece of gear. In my studio, I have several headphone locations branching off a multi-headphone amp. Using the HAUC, i am able to give each user a choice of 3.5 mm and 1/4 jacks, and full volume control. Installation was a breeze with four screws. At my news-talk table, I have daisy-chained three thanks to the dual jacks in the back, and each still has its own volume control. Well worth the money and highly-recommended.

A really good price and a very good quality for use in studio and in the field. Is the best all terrain headphone.

I use the headphone in my production studio. It's very qualitatively assembled and have clear sound. I can't say anything bad about it.

Perfect for my studio needs. I have others, but these are a great addition for a lower end headphone with a high quality sound for the $.

I got the large one because I wanted the extra power for studio use, but it was too big for my bag, so got the small one, too. Regardless of size, I found neither removed all specs from my sensor, so wound up having to get some sensor cleaning swabs, too, which are about the only things to remove all specs.

We keep it on a C-stand most of the time, but the battery design is perfect for occasional outdoor work. If we have a person hold it up (human c-stand), the controls are accessible by the right thumb, so the light operator can make adjustments without moving the fixture. The specs say 7 pounds but it feels light. Excellent build quality and low fan noise. The light it outputs gives plenty of control. Flattering for talent. I purchased two during a b&h promotion, will buy more for my studio in the future. I put this on one side of talent, then compared a 1,000 watt fluorescent daylight bulb on the other side of the talent, looking for shadowing. This light keeps up. Two lights with a silk and I can light just about any interview. Matches my tungstens, and everything between. The specs on this light say it's an 850 watt tungsten equivalent. LED is the craze and so much of it is cheap garbage that does not belong in a professional studio. I think if you are a professional but don't want to spring for high-end LED fresnels and bigger panels, you can get two or three of these and you'll be very happy. The light quality speaks for itself, but you just have to see that for yourself.

This thing is a beast especially when you include the wheels. It's certainly a workhorse with many studio usage. Wish there was another version exactly the same specs except half the weight and supports half the load.
