Studio Monitor Level Calibration

Beautiful monitor! Has all needed color spaces for colorist and fits great in a small studio. For easier calibration I recommend downloading LG calibration studio from official website.

It was close before calibration and perfect after. Size is plenty for my level of photo editing using with my laptop screen.

I bought this TV about three weeks ago. I spent quite a bit of time watching different viewing sources DVDs streaming PlayStation, and I can tell you that it is quite an amazing picture. Immediately out of the box I said it to the cinema mode and was very pleased with the black levels and then I took it to the next level and began the calibration process. This TV will allow you to have a calibration level set for each input.

For those who really want to go to the next level of lens calibration FoCal is the one to get. Probably more useful than the basic calibration value, the Pro version shows you a detailed graph of sharpness versus aperture. It also gives you a basic indication of the quality of your lens. Read the instructions and don't try to out smart the system. Longer lenses will need a good amount of space. And don't try to use a copy of their target that you printed on glossy paper. It won't work.

The monitor is excellent - color accuracy (Adobe RGB), uniformity, etc... probably the best manufacturer of monitors with hardware calibration (built-in LUT)... with second place to BenQ. I just wish hardware calibration monitors were less expensive (sad face)!
