Studio Monitor Without Subwoofer

I was looking for a compact stereo speaker/subwoofer combination as a reference/mixdown monitor for my project studio. The Cyber Acoustics CA-3908 perfectly fills the bill! Easy setup with a unique control pod that takes little space - headphone and aux jacks on the pod are a nice touch. The sound is AMAZING - brilliant highs, balanced mid-frequencies, and a VERY responsive sub-woofer make for an outstanding listening experience! For desktop and laptop computers, this is a no-brainer; in fact, if you watch movies on your computer, this system will make soundtracks REALLY come to life! I ordered the set with two lights and in two days, they were delivered to me for free. Now that I can test them, I couldn’t be happier with them. Totally recommended.

I use this as a rolling laptop stand for tethered shooting in my studio. Without question it is best rolling stand I've ever used. Perfect height extremely strong and smooth operation.

Had the audioengine 2's and wasn't satisfied, moved up to the 5's and found them worse - muddy all across the midrange, overly boomy bass, completely muffled vocals, etc. Wanted something clear and precise, and was willing to sacrifice bass to get it. I picked these up because of the brand's reputation, thinking I'd pair them with a small subwoofer and get better full frequency response than getting the 8020s (or even 8030s) alone. But I was BLOWN AWAY by the low end. No, it's not going to rattle the windows with its power, but the notes are reproduced in the music. I can't believe how good this sounds with professionally mastered music and movies. It thunders when necessary! And one of the best things is that it shows you, right away, how far away your mix is. A good mix sounds amazing. A quicky mix you've done in ableton... sounds horrible. That's exactly what you want from a studio monitor. I've in love and only wish I had picked these up 8 years ago instead of screwing around with junk monitors. I used to joke that these are the only monitors you see at every international art exhibition using sound, but now I know why. I have the space for a subwoofer at my desk studio, but now I seriously doubt I'm going to get one... at least for the time being. 5 stars.

Essential and well built. If you're buying the feelworld monitors CAMVATE made the solution for mounting. Without it, the monitor is a problem for pro use.

I was first introduced to Adam monitors at my previous production position by the head audio engineer. I knew when it came time to upgrade my home studio, Adam monitors were at the top of my short list. I debated on whether getting the Adam A5X models with a subwoofer or just a pair of the A7X. Because my home studio is small with untreated walls I opted in favor of a pair of A7X and no subwoofer. Absolutely no regrets. These things sound so amazing! Plenty of low end. This is one of the single best investments I've ever made for editing HD video. How good are they? My old monitors will soon be listed for sale.

I have a small home studio. I needed some low end reinforcement. This NS-SW050 8 100 Watt Subwoofer works well with my pair of 8 inch small-room studio audio monitors and filled the bill nicely. The product and price worked for me. Thanks B&H!
