Studio Monitors For Home Stereo

This has an awesome sound for it's size. I have used JBL in the professional environment and have JBL studio monitors as my home stereo speakers. This sounds right in line with my other JBL experiences. Just wish it has a tube amp inside.

I needed a pair of studio monitors to do multitrack audio mixing at my home studio & these are perfect!

I have 4 ART Stereo preamps in my home studio, and 2 of this specific model. I have a previous model, and the digital version, also. To my ears, they sound great, giving me a pleasing, warm, tube-ish sound. The adjustable plate voltage gives you a lot of flexibility, and can make even SM57 mics sound pretty darn good. With a good condensor mic, they are wonderful. They have enough gain to use with Cascade Fathead ribbon mics. Sound-on-Sound recently did a test of eight different pre-amps, some very expensive ones, and this one did very well in blind tests.

I was first introduced to Adam monitors at my previous production position by the head audio engineer. I knew when it came time to upgrade my home studio, Adam monitors were at the top of my short list. I debated on whether getting the Adam A5X models with a subwoofer or just a pair of the A7X. Because my home studio is small with untreated walls I opted in favor of a pair of A7X and no subwoofer. Absolutely no regrets. These things sound so amazing! Plenty of low end. This is one of the single best investments I've ever made for editing HD video. How good are they? My old monitors will soon be listed for sale.

I use these monitors to mix in my home studio. I've been around studios with Genelecs and love the sound, but mixing requires you to get down and dirty. My room is a little smaller so the BM6a's are the perfect size with real tight bass, a very clear mid range, and a clean high end. Overall I couldn't be happier with my choice.

I have powered up my old Tannoy System 8 monitors in my home studio after using various powered speakers the past few years. This little Pyle amp makes them sound as good or better than my old Kenwood that pooped out 10 years ago. They have such good bass that I don't need a sub. I am pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive piece of gear. I even like the the blue light. Go Pyle!

I recently received a pair of the JBL 3 MK II monitors for my birthday for my home studio. These monitors deliver great sound quality! They were set up in a matter of minutes and enabled me to hear the work that I have recorded without using headphones. The sound is crisp and clear and I highly recommend them.
