I have used many light stands for my studio at home in the past. This one tends out to be the best. It is very stable and can hold Profoto B1 with the 40 Grip Arm in any desirable position. A very good buy and worth every penny you spend.

Use these to record vocals for all my various projects, including live (studio) radio drama.

Works great for the B1 + dome.

Use: On- and off-camera applications for independent film projects; used in conjunction with Canon XL equipment, field recorder and mixer for both studio and field sessions. Pros: Very good sound quality, with great off-axis rejection. Solid performance at a remarkably low price. I plan on getting another for matched multi-channel studio work. Cons: Phantom power only (not a constraint for my needs).

To all my associates; I am a jazz player and singer and I have a home studio for my recording projects. After a few years with large capsule condenser microphones, 3 to be exact, I have found the ribbon microphone to be the best for my type of vocal. For the price of the MXL 144 it has a great natural sound and the highs are not rough. Just a little EQ for your personal taste. I ordered a pre amp but found I did not need it for my recording system. I run it directly into my Tascam US-1641. Eventual I will update to the more expensive models.

This device allows me to move around without being tethered to my mixer by a headset cable. Now I can audition my projects and go get coffee at the same time. Connections were easy to make. Paired easily with my Bose AE2 Soundlink headset. I noticed a few milliseconds of latency when studio monitors were up. Not a problem for me, especially when simply listening via the headset. Range is good. The BT 100 is upstairs in my studio. No dropouts when downstairs in the kitchen. A side benefit is I can now privately listen to internet music and not bother my wife who prefers different genres. Included instructions are brief. Download the manual available here at B&H.

I use the product in my YouTube studio and with client work so paid projects i trust this light. It has replaced my Godox SL60W. Fantastic customer service and the light really shines! Very bright and very color accurate

Purchased this for small studio projects and night photography activities. Only used a few times these past two weeks since receiving it. Feels solid, the online manual is good to get you up and running and app works seamlessly. Still haven't used all the features but extremely happy with purchase so far. B&H delivery was fast.
