A really good price and a very good quality for use in studio and in the field. Is the best all terrain headphone.

Perfect for my studio needs. I have others, but these are a great addition for a lower end headphone with a high quality sound for the $.

The HAUC Active Stereo Headphone Control Box by Whirlwind fits the bill perfectly for studio headphone control. Easily mounted under the desk, it is a solid piece of gear. In my studio, I have several headphone locations branching off a multi-headphone amp. Using the HAUC, i am able to give each user a choice of 3.5 mm and 1/4 jacks, and full volume control. Installation was a breeze with four screws. At my news-talk table, I have daisy-chained three thanks to the dual jacks in the back, and each still has its own volume control. Well worth the money and highly-recommended.

Superb product if you like studio quality and not a headphone who can influence the sound. Some hard to drive compared to others, but this is a High-End product

I bought this headphone from B&H at a discount price and was amazed at its sound quality. Even its standart price is a bargain for this sound quality. It is one of the best headphones I have used. The sound quality is precise and very satifying. Wearing it for hours (which I need to do during my recording sessions in the studio) is not tiring. Its physical presence (on my ear) and audio doesn't disturb me (like some lower quality headphones). Sound insulation is just right for my needs. Excellent frequency responce, definitely fun to work with. A must for any serious audio fan/pro. I will be purchasing a second one for my studio.

I selected this headphone amplifier for my home studio after comparing many alternatives for one primary reason: Discrete, balanced inputs for all signals. Even though my snake from control room to studio is only 50 feet, it is enough to pick up line frequency hum for units with unbalanced inputs. The Tascam MH-8 has individual, Left/Right balanced inputs for 2 shared and 8 individual channel inputs which gives enormous flexibility on the back-side patch panel. Having 8 output channels is also an advantage vs the more typical 6 since most computer interfaces and mixers have groups of 8 channels for more of me use. The sound quality is very good, clean and dominated by the quality of the headphones used. I'll be picking up a 2'nd unit, chaining the 2 common inputs, and adding 8 more discrete inputs. I'm very satisfied with this unit.

i a bit of a headphone enthusiast, being a musician. i have ultrasone studio headphones, westone w3 in-ear-monitors, blue mo-fis, and various others. i was stuck in NYC recently and needed some headphones that played a bit better with some studio gear i had picked up, so i decided to take a chance on the GRADO SR80es. i'd heard about grados for years, but hadn't wanted to play around with open-back headphones. as soon as i tried them on in B&H i was sold. it's true that the SR80es don't have the pounding, overprocessed bass of something like, i guess, an Apple Beats headphone might have. but in terms of overall sound quality - blend, balance, sense of SPACE. these things absolutely amaze in those categories. i can't believe the quality of sound for $100. the open-back nature of the phones delivers an entirely different listening experience. wider, more open than anything i'd heard previously. yes, sound leak is a thing - you won't be able to listen to these on an airplane or in bed next to your significant other without them hearing plenty. and yes, sound will 'leak' IN as well, but i personally enjoy that. walking around NYC with the sounds of the city blending in to the music i was listening to - adds a new element and also adds the bonus of hearing the trash truck just before it runs me over.
