Studio Record Software

I've been using protools for about 10 years in my recording studio and I think is the best software for record, edit and mix music. I got this version for working in my laptop and now I can work everywhere. The native plug ins woks very well and you can get others of your preference that run well too. For shure I will continue using protools in the future.

I primarily use this mic when I record screencasts for trainings, software demonstrations, and when doing video game commentary. I really like the voice quality and I don't have that great of radio voice but this mic helps smooth out some of the rough edges of my voice. I was surprised how sturdy this mic is compared too the images in the product description. It is an all-metal housing and the grill covering the mic is actually wire mesh, which I though was only cloth at first. The included USB cable is about 8 feet long so you have plenty of room to move this about. I haven't tried using the built-in monitor jack because I find it distracting when recording. We use MXL Micmate USB to XLR adapters and MXL condenser mics so I was originally going to purchase a different mic and the Micmate. I saved money by buying the Tempo and have the same results with less equipment.
