Studio Video Monitor And Imac

I switched to a Mac Studio recently after spending the last 10 years editing video on iMac, and this monitor holds up incredibly well. No, it is not a 5K Retina display. However, it is about $1,000 less expensive than an Apple Display, and after using it for two weeks, I'm not noticing any major differences. The color and the resolution are high quality and very suitable for editing 4K video. This monitor also connects directly to the Mac Studio through a USB-C, and it started right up the first time. (I had read reviews that firmware needed to be updated on the monitor to use the USB-C connection, but I didn't not experience this). The 31.5 display is also a nice upgrade over the 27 iMac - that extra bit of real estate is always welcome. It takes up about the same amount of space on my desk as the iMac did. The matte screen is also great. The Retina Displays were too glossy with too many reflections, whereas this monitor minimizes and soften reflections. I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to an Apple Display, I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor.

My 27 2017 iMac needed replacing. Apple no longer makes a 27 iMac so I purchased the new M1 Mac Studio. That meant I needed a new monitor as well. I almost ordered the Mac 27 studio monitor. You know, the same 5K monitor that was on my old iMac. But then I started my research and discovered EIZO had started making a more moderately priced 27 display. For only around $100 or so more money than the Apple screen I now have an incredible, color accurate, 4K EIZO ColorEdge CS2740. I have no regrets at all. It was plug and play from the start. I did a manual calibration with my iStudio gear and marvel at the accuracy. I don't miss the 5K slick screen at all. I bought this monitor because I'm a photographer and color accuracy is important. One caveat; if you need a built in camera and speakers go elsewhere. EIZO is known for color accuracy not Zoom meetings. I have an old Bose computer speaker system that still works and it plugged right in to the Mac Studio. If you need the best color rendition you can get for under $2000, this monitor is a great choice.

May be overkill for a monitor connection to a Studio iMac but it works great and should last through several years of upgrades.

I have calibrated my iMac's Monitor and mi Epson printer. Is very importan follow a video for get a effective calibration, or maybe read before in the official website the FAQ's because in my fisrts pirnter calibration i got a dark profile iCC

I use this monitor to reference live feed from the video switcher in my school news studio.  The monitor is bright, crisp, and has onboard tools that are very helpful.  The histogram allows me to dial in iris settings for each camera on the fly.  The metal exterior is pretty darn nice for a sub $500 monitor.  Lilliput provides nice added goodies such as a camera adapter, and sunshade.  The monitor is boxed very nicely.... reminiscent of unboxing an Apple product.  While some may complain that it is only 500 brightness, this is more that sufficient for studio use.  I am buying more shortly to provide studio staff additional live views.

The Poly Studio P21 is great solution for people using a laptop or a desktop computer for video conferencing. It has excellent built in camera, microphone, and speakers--all superior in quality to those of the average laptop. It also has lighting to enhance one's image in video conferencing. It is an ideal monitor for use as the main monitor with a mini PC or a Mac Mini, or as a second monitor with a laptop for video conferencing. The camera has digital pan/tilt/zoom capabilities, those these are not always seamless. One needs to follow the setup instructions carefully, but the results are worth it. The best part is that B&H sells this monitor at a steep discount, making this monitor a true bargain.

I needed a 10.1 inch monitor for my video studio's teleprompter and this does the trick. Sharp text. Quick and easy to set up. Affordably priced. I'm thrilled.

So far, it's been the perfect adapter. Needed to run video from an old 2008 Mac to my monitor for the studio.
