Studio Xps 8100 Window Install Monitor

it works w/ my xps 8100 for dual monitor purposes. Dell recommended me wrong adapter for dual monitor twice!!! But i was able to find the same adapter that I already got w/ my system on cablestogo :-).

Very good microphone for my DELL studio xps. My sound card had no difficulty in recognizing the microphone.

I purchased this to use with n-Track Studio on my Dell Studio XPS laptop. From the very first use I was absolutely amazed at the performance of this wonderful microphons. It performs as well as some of the large professional Studio condensor mics I have used in the past and the sensativity and clarity are amazing. I also love the ability to have four distinct patterns all rolled into one microphone. After sampling several recordings made with this microphone I have to say that they sound very much like they were done in a high quality studio. All in all I am totally satisfied with the Yeti and with Blue Microphones in general. I would reccomend it highly.

I had purchased my Dell XPS 8950 with 32 GB of memory and Win 11, and I wanted to expand it to 64 GB of memory. I had purchased Crucial memory before for other computers, so I checked on the price, and the Crucial memory was a fraction of the cost of 32 GB at Dell! The memory arrived when originally scheduled, and when installed properly physically, the computer would not boot. I went to Crucial's website, and looked at the instructions to install memory. The instructions stated that it is necessary to do an electrical dump prior to installation (and how to accomplish that), and give it some time to install. I followed these instructions, and I now have 64 GB of working memory.

Got this to connect my XPS 13 from 2016/2017 to my 27" thunderbolt Apple monitor. It worked straight out of the box. However I have a Dell TB16 dock as well. Tried using that as well. So the dock's usb-c connector goes into the XPS, and the Startech adapter goes from the dock to the Thunderbolt monitor. That didn't work: I needed to update the BIOS, Thunderbolt firmware, thunderbolt driver, and installed I believe the latest thunderbolt application from the Intel website. Everything works now, even the audio and usb ports on the monitor. (facetime camera doesn't work, since it can't find a driver). All in all good buy, but I can't connect my 2019 macbook Pro to my thunderbolt monitor with the startech adapter. Monitor does not activate. Seems to only work with Windows machines.

bought this for my dell xps 17 and video editing. this huge crystal clear monitor is awesome. great investment.

I have a Dell XPS laptop and the monitor setup seamlessly - pretty much plug and play. Connecting the monitor to the stand was a breeze. The picture is amazing. Two little things I noticed (but are not deal breakers for me): 1) - I noticed others have mentioned is the Joystick Control on the back of the monitor for OSD settings (Brightness/color etc.). At first I found the joystick frustrating to use until I discovered that you push against the edges of the joystick button - not on the joystick itself to make selections. Once I discovered that using it was a breeze. 2) - I have JBL Studio monitors connected to my laptop. With my previous 27 HP monitor there were no hum/ground issues. The Dell monitor must put out more electrical interference. I had to upgrade my connections from unbalanced TS plugs to TRS and XLR connections. Changing those cables removed the hum.

Bright screen, everything looks great on this new monitor with my new XPS 8960 PC. I like that the screen moves up and down and swivel's at the same time. Glad I bought this one from the fabulous B&H Photo.

These are used in a studio/permanent install connectincg a preamp and the room monitor amp. They run around the edge of the room. Construction is solid including the connectors at each end. They seem sturdy enough that I think they might be tough enough to be used as mic cables for gigging out. Good product, good price. BTW, all transactions with B&H have always been perfect. B&H is a great merchant.
