Stun Gun Flash Light

I used this light bouncer in extreme light conditions.  I took photos in pitch darkness and the results were excellent.  Very little exposure correction was required afterwards.  In the same session I used it under more lighting conditions and the results were excellent just the same.  Since I have more than one flash gun, instead of using the velcro supplied with the light bouncer, I made two strips of velcro of my own to attach each onto a different flash gun and I worked perfectly and could easily change from one camera to the other very easily, without having to acquire another light bouncer.

Light... It.... up. This is a great on-cam LED light for interviews and run and gun action.

This light is perfect for my style of filming. I needed it for run and gun style of filming and its perfect for that!!

The manual was great. Since this was first big flash gun I was kind of intimidated. Looking through the manual was all I needed to do. I love this gun and wouldn't trade for all the tea in China. I shot some photo over the Xmas holidays and they came out great!!

I mostly shoot events, run-n-gun type of shooting. I am always looking for gadgets that soften the light from my flash which is always on a bracket above my camera. This is a pretty fun little diffuser. I use it when I am unable to bounce the flash (high ceilings, or outdoors). I keep this in my camera bag because it folds up so nice and small. Handy gadget for sure, especially for the price.

Its super easy to set up comes with a carrying case and a flash gun hot shoe. For the price its totally worth it !!

My only complaint about this flash gun is that it is too big and heavy (compared to EX580II that I owned before), but not big/heavy enough to make me to take a star out, lol. The battery life is just great (another battery type?! Hey people in Canon, are you doing this on purpose?) and the recycle time is much - MUCH - better than that of a EX580II. I do not regret spending $1K+ on it.

I've tried a good number of different modifiers to use with run and gun flashes, and this is by far the one I've been happiest to use. it spreads light evenly and uniformly whether the flash is used on camera or off. It may seem like a lot to pay for a piece of shaped foam, but the results are better than anything else I've tried that allows the flash to still be camera mounted or held out away from the camera in my left hand. It holds shape well, even when packed in a bag that might slightly warp the shape while in the bag. As soon as I take it out of the bag, it recovers the correct shape.

For the price that you are paying, this is one amazingly powerful flash gun. The integrated 622 receiver make off-camera flash so easy (since I already have their 622 TX transmitter also). Highly recommended.
