C stand isn't as heavy as I thought (a good thing) It is very sturdy. With a 36 foldable octa with AB light extended with the gobo arm all the way out and at full stand extension, it does bend slightly along the whole height. I wouldn't advise this for use, but you really shouldn't do that anyway. Also the plug in the gobo arm had to be removed for me to fasten my lights on it. Not a big deal since the inside of the tube is coated so I am not concerned with rust or debris. All knobs and connections are industrial and sturdy. The grips work amazingly even holding tight the wrong way. If you are looking for a first Cstand buy this one like me you wont be disappointed. 5 |

Thought I might want something plastic or foldable, but since I'm not traveling much, this is a clean, sturdy option that puts my laptop screen (MacBook Pro 15) at a great height. Very glad I got this one. 5 |
