Styrofoam Box For Shipping

Easiest battery swap ever, slide it out and slide it in, no messing with plugs, Styrofoam shipping container it arrived in was excellent too!

I got my replacement battery earlier than expected. The styrofoam was a bit broken in the box but the product was in good shape. Replacing the battery was basically a snap. The free shipping label for recycling the old one was greatly appreciated. A quick stop in the PowerChute software to reset the replacement date was also easy, though it had been some time and I'd forgotten my login. No problem, uninstalled and downloaded much newer version which was better. All is working well. My previous battery had lasted almost 5 years before the alarm went off indicating replacement time. I recommend APC to all my customers and encourage them to protect their PC's and have been doing business with them for 15 years or more and have no complaints.

The cabinet arrived well protected with styrofoam cushioning inside a thick cardboard box with surrounding wood crating. The shelves were in place and padding was already on the shelves. It was easy to set up. The front two feet are screw down to keep it from rocking. It plugged in and turned on immediately. As has been stated by others, the shelves are plastic and feel cheap. They work and when pulled out they remain in place supporting the equipment. There’s no fancy slides and rollers like a kitchen drawer. We’ll see how they last, long term. The 120L cabinet is large enough for my lenses, cameras and flash. It allows me to organize and consolidate things. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it. It should protect my gear during the muggy summer months.

Company needs to use cardboard packing material instead of styrofoam. Styrofoam can’t support the weight. So it crushes and breaks. Consequently corners loosen.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and these are my impressions so far. It's definitely moderately heavy but I am using a strap to mitigate and I think there's a way to make that work with future experimenting and testing. The 7D mark 2 with an L series 24-70 balances easily and quickly. It's cool because that camera has auto focus tracking so shooting on the move works well. My C 100 also works but I have to take off the hand grip and that removes some ease in functionality. There's a way to control the camera through wifi/web but I haven't tried that yet. It's also harder to balance the C 100 because of how the weight is displaced. The shots look great and I love that it can be put down anywhere as opposed to the other ronins. It's built solid. The carrying case is styrofoam which I assume will get chipped and not stand the test of time. It's nice styrofoam but still styrofoam. Gee...I wonder if they will offer a nicer case as an option...(scratching chin) I wonder...But, all in all. Great purchase.

I got this to store my Ronin S and follow focus kit. This one actually fits the styrofoam DJI case (which is why I bought no foam) and the follow focus can slide in next to it. The tan will help me distinguish it from the standard black when I have it with me on shows. You can't go wrong with a Pelican for your gear!
