Recently added the Sub to my growing Sonos collection and very pleased with the additional depth it gives to my home cinema setup. Settings best left in default position for a natural sound. High bass settings give awesome sound effects in films but do make the walls shake! 5 |

Great depth to the sound quality, even at low volumes. Impressive bass, but spookily it doesn't sound like it comes from the SUB. Simple to add to existing Sonos units. Transforms some familiar tracks into something very special. I was sceptical about spending the money, but I'm glad I did! 5 |

I replaced a Bose Soundtouch 30 with The Five and it fills my living area just as well, if not better. The Five is about the same size as the Bose Soundtouch 30 and the sound is roughly comparable. That's where the similarities end. The Five is much easier to connect with its app than the Bose was. Since I already had a Sonos Arc with Sub Mini and One SL surrounds, as well as a Sonos Roam, I am now able to stream music throughout my home, and it sounds fantastic! I stream Apple Music and the Bose product does not support it. I especially enjoy Spatial Audio in my den (Arc/Sub Mini/One SLs,) so I figured I would be happy with The Five as a single speaker in my living area. (I am!) 5 |
