My desktop only has USB 3.0 ports in the back so they are very inconvenient to use. This extension cable solved the problem. I leave it plugged in all the time, sitting on top of the tower so it is easily accessible. Now I get super fast transfer speeds between my 3.0 thumb drive and PC. 5 |

I recently purchased 2 Xcellon Slim 10 Port USB 3.0 Hubs. They were to replace similar same brand hubs that I had purchased a long, long time ago. The new Hubs have individual on/off switches for each USB Port, 10 on off switches, which allows me to leave multiple remote drives plugged in, but not connected to my iMac's.
