Long story short: analysis paralysis. Wanted the Apple XDR, but refuse to spend the money on it as I no longer edit professionally. I wanted an ultrawide flat, and refused to evaluate curved monitors. I was an architectural photo/video pro in a past life, straight lines were critical. I caught a couple of good reviews about this monitor on YT, so I did some digging. I considered going with 2x 27s, but that would have been overkill. Then apple came out with the new 27 Pro Display and that would have priced me out. So I landed at this ViewSonic. You already know the screen space is massive. Where this monitor crushes is color fidelity and the other important features. It's dead quiet, its colorful, its customizable, it's got tons of i/o, it's lightweight, and it's been highly reliable. I have it connected to a 2018 MBP through eGPU (that sometimes gives me hell) but otherwise, this monitor connects with ease. If you are on the fence between this and ANY other curved equivalent, consider this monitor from ViewSonic. I was pleasantly surprised. I nearly bought the new LG ultrawide before acquiring this, and I have zero regrets. Is it perfect? No. But, sub $1500, this monitor is a pleasure to sit behind for long business days, and fun post-production projects on my weekends. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is great. The main things I was looking out for when upgrading to a 32:9 was Color Accuracy for editing photo and video as well as good performance for gaming. 95% DCIP3 color accuracy was plenty for my needs personally and I am using 16 bit 100MP GFX 100 files. A 200hz refresh rate is more than I will ever see in most games that I play. The brightness is 400 cd/m^2 which is more than my second ultrawide and plenty for the environment I use this in. Usage wise, You definitely dont NEED 45in of ultrawide display but in gaming (if the game supports it), it is absolutely gorgeous. Being able to watch a movie while I am editing is also pretty nice as well. The only downside I have really come across is the fact that it has about an inch less screen height wise. My old 21:9 Ultrawide monitor had a screen height of 14.29". So while I obviously gained a vast amount of screen real estate horizontally, I lost about a little over an inch in height. This is negligible in my opinion but it would have been the icing on the cake if it was also the same vertical size. It was really the only flaw I could come up with. Genuinely love the monitor. Overall I think if youre debating on making the switch to 32:9 from 21:9 this is a fantastic intro into it before shelling out a bunch of money for bigger OLED options. 5 |

This monitor is truly beautiful and unique with the specs offered in a curved 32" 4k display. I upgraded from a 27" Alienware IPS display and I know that OLED displays are still not perfected so I decided to buy this one and the comparison is night and day! After some tweaking with the settings, I finally got the perfect output using a 4080 card with HDR off in windows, custom scaling @ 160% , 14 black equalizer, 120hz refresh rate, adaptive sync on, 80 brightness/contrast/sharpness, and contrast enhancer on. (NVIDIA brightness/contrast/digital vibrance @ 50%) 5 |

Works as expected with a curved 32 monitor. was a little confused about the tension spring at first but got it tightened and it holds the weight of the monitor well. would recommend! 5 |

I've been using the Dell UltraSharp 38 1600p Curved Monitor for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The expansive 38-inch curved display immerses you in your work or entertainment, providing a truly panoramic viewing experience. The 1600p resolution delivers stunning clarity and sharpness, making everything from text to images look incredibly detailed. One of the standout features of this monitor is its color accuracy. With 100% sRGB and 99% Rec709 color coverage, colors are vibrant and true to life, which is essential for my photo and video editing work. The factory calibration ensures that the colors are spot-on right out of the box. The curved design is not just aesthetically pleasing but also functional. It reduces eye strain and provides a more natural field of view, which is particularly beneficial during long working sessions. The build quality is top-notch, with a sleek, premium finish that complements any workspace. Connectivity options are plentiful with USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs, making it easy to connect multiple devices. The USB-C port also supports power delivery, which is a great convenience for charging my laptop while using the monitor. Ergonomics are well thought out, with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel options, ensuring that I can set up the monitor for maximum comfort. The on-screen display menu is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing for quick adjustments to settings. In summary, the Dell UltraSharp 38 1600p Curved Monitor is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their display setup. Whether you're a creative professional or simply want an outstanding monitor for general use, this model delivers in every aspect. Highly recommended! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when my LG monitor arrived! I have been using a laptop screen along with a small second screen but knew I needed even more screen space to be as efficient as possible. The LG UltraWide 49-inch monitor is big, really big! It provides all the space I need! I can have at least 4 full-size browser windows open at a time and many more smaller windows open if I choose. The unboxing and stand assembly was super easy. The stand attaches without tools and I had the monitor together and on my desk within minutes. I very quickly realized my existing desk setup was not going to be deep enough - which is not a bad thing! I will trade having this new monitor for an adjustment to my desktop any day! I am very impressed with the stand. You can adjust the monitor to a wide range of heights and you can also tilt the monitor horizontally and vertically to meet your needs. LG hit it out of the park when it comes to the stand! But I am most happy with the screen itself, of course. I have the resolution set as high as it will go - 5120 x 1440 - and it is super sharp and super clear. The on-screen settings are simple to navigate and well engineered. The monitor connected flawlessly with my laptop. One cool perk - the monitor charges my laptop so I don't have to use my laptop's charging cord. Saves on space and cord clutter. I am very happy with my LG UltraWide monitor. I would recommend it to anyone! 5 |

Bought 8 for our office. Using the grommet-mount for some and the edge-mount for others. Works with our 34" curved ultrawide monitors despite their weight exceeding official limits. The mount isn't tall enough to rotate the ultrawides into portrait orientation though. The users love the adjustability and silver look that matches our furniture. Here's a suggestion for the next generation mount. Make it possible to route cables through the desk grommet while also using the grommet mount. 5 |
