We shoot video for high school football games. We use a Canon X-A30. We bought two of these batteries to replace older batteries that were not holding their charge. One battery lasts the whole game.

I use this mic for recording clips at high school football games, and public service announcements for my local cable access channel. The sound quality that comes from this mic is greatmuch better than the 7D's built-in mic, not to mention the ease of use. The only thing that concerns me about this mic is the plastic construction. I don't think it could take much abuse.

I use this for high school football games on a Nikon SB-800. Used for shots like this @ I can get substantially more distance out of the flash with the better beamer.
