The Sata m.2 in the Latitude 7490 had fast disk read of 454 but I knew the NVME would be lightning speed compared to it. I bought the Gen 3 Samsung because of the price and also knowing the Latitude would only use 2 lanes. (per the internet ). I also decided to do a clean install of Windows 11 Pro. I removed the Sata m.2, put in the Samsung m.2 booted up with the Windows 11 Pro install dvd and Windows saw the Samsung immediately. After the install, I tested the drive with Crystal Disk Mark and it was 33250, I later installed the Samsung driver for the disk, downloaded from the Samsung site and it was 3499. The Drive states speeds of 3500. Totally pleased and my son which is an IT Director, is going to buy the exact same disk to upgrade his companies Dell Optiplex's. 5 Star, and super quick shipping from B&H. 5 |

I bought the Rugged Book Go for my iPad Pro 11" and only had it for a few months before the hinge on it broke. While I am waiting for the replacement; I ordered this Rugged Book. This is the keyboard accessory I should've bought in the first place. If you are thinking about getting this vs the Rugged Book Go ... don't hesitate; buy this. Zagg ... fix the hinge issue on the Rugged Book Pro. Its trash and I would really like my money back for that product. 5 |
