Surface Laptop Studio External Monitor

Works as advertised. A must for anyone using their laptop with external monitor and drives.

I have been using this for a month to display my laptop on an external HDMI monitor. Works great. Monitor pops on as soon as i plug it in.

I'm using this on a Surface Pro 7 so user can have a large monitor (Display Port) and external mouse/keyboard. Works perfectly. Highly recommended.

I use the product on my desk with an external monitor. It keeps my posture great and it makes my laptop easier to use as my only machine.

At the $190 sale price I picked it up for, this would be a great deal even if it was just an ordinary QHD 24 monitor. But the built-in extras add a ton of versatility: - I'm able to connect my laptop with only one USB-C cable that carries power, video signal, and USB data to the built-in hub that I plug my USB devices into, providing a true one-cable docked setup with no need for an external dock. - The built-in camera and mic are really good quality, way better than even the fairly nice ones built into my laptop. - 90Hz refresh rate is nice for more smoothness. - 400 nits of brightness makes it not look like the typical dim desktop monitor. - Includes speakers which are better than my laptop's, but still not great for playing music. The only thing I feel it's missing is an audio out jack, so that if you do have external speakers, you can plug them right into the monitor rather than the laptop or getting a USB audio DAC to plug into the monitor. And the speakers could be better, so you don't feel the need to buy external ones in the first place. Though admittedly this is a lot to ask of a monitor's built-in speakers, especially at this price point. Regardless, if you're looking for a 24 screen at 122 DPI, I don't think you can go wrong with this monitor.

I use this stand for my laptop when connecting it to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse and it is wonderful. It is sturdy and places my laptop screen at just the right height.

In the entertainment business, I regularly have 3 to 5 Video meetings per day, so I began upgrading my a/v equipment. People mentioned a hissing sound from my laptop mic, so I ordered the Rode NT-USB Microphone. It's a great mic, but I wasn't happy with the plastic stand that came with it as I had to put it next to my laptop, which interfered with viewing my external monitor. So I ordered this stand to move the mic above the laptop screen. The stand is well built and much heavier than expected, which is good for stability. It raises the mic high enough to place the stand behind my laptop screen so it's not in the way of it or my external monitor. At the same time, I ordered the Auray Shockmount for Rode Podcast Mics and Mics with M20 Thread to hold the mic and eliminate vibration from the desk. Together with the stand, they work flawlessly. I've recently ordered the Auray RF-PBO-16 Premium Reflection Filter partly for background noise reduction, but also to counter balance the mic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this keyboard so I could use my laptop with an external monitor and keyboard. I love the separated keys that stand out, they help me type much faster without making very many mistakes. It was easy to connect. I enjoy using it very much.

Does everything it's supposed to do, and does it well. I always use my laptop in clamshell mode with an external monitor, so the laptop's webcam is always enclosed. I was using my iPhone as a webcam, but this is the much better way to go. This camera can also be used a microphone once you download the software for it at the Logitech website. Set up is super simple if you know how to download, install and use a simple app.
