Needless to say, lightning does take out cable modems even on a surge protector. Mine would not work after being fried so I bought the same brand only to have the model not in working order when it arrived. I saw that I already had a NETGEAR router so decided to make it a pair with the cable modem. Have had no problems since installation. Only wish that the owners manual would be included in the box. 5 |

I have only had this surge protector but about 1 month and so far it has been a good one have not had no lightning storms are bad power surges yet to see if it will do its job. 5 |

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further. 5 |

This, hands down, is the most useful surge protector for the money. I bought 7 of them to protect my in-home and shop expensive toys. They have plenty of 3-prong outlets nicely spaced, coax, phone line protection and a long cord too! The only down side is that they are a titch large, but for the money, you can slide these things under about anywhere if you need to. 5 |

This is a great little surge protector. I used several of them to protect video projectors, TV screens and other small equipment. One I installed showed me a ground fault where wiring had not been done correctly - glad it did! 5 |
