Nice full & balanced Sound as Rear Surround Speakers

I have the Roku Sound Bar,Sub, and the surround sound speakers, I have owned several different surround sound systems in the past, from high end to low end systems, This Roku setup is the best that I have ever had, the sound reproduction is great, the bass is thunderous and adds to much to the sound, the rear speakers will pull you right into the action on the screen, and to top off the great setup, it’s all wireless, no more hiding wires under throw rugs, just plug the speakers into power, pop some popcorn and turn on your favorite movie and be ready to be amazed.

Connecting to wifi and adding both speakers as a rear surround sound was frustrating as it wouldn't recognise the one of the speakers. Required multiple resets, rebooting my router etc but I got there eventually. Once connected, truplay configured for best sound the end result was incredible. Better than my previous Bose system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG sound bar (LG Soundbar S80TR) has been a fantastic experience! It provides an exceptional surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos, completely changing how I enjoy movies and TV shows. The mobile app's ability to enable surround sound across all connected speakers was an unexpected but fantastic feature. Through the rear speakers with this feature enabled, it was nice to have a speaker closer to hear from than the soundbar below the TV. Of course, this will vary based on the size of your living room, but for me, it was beneficial! The profile is slim; it is taller than my prior sound bar, which might block your remote input if the sound bar sits below your TV versus wall mounted. I appreciate that the sound bar tells you when it is receiving a Dobly Atmos signal; I noticed this varies from streaming apps. The use of AI to calibrate the speakers based on their placement was impressive, and the software lets you test the new calibration or go back to being uncalibrated to see the difference! I did buy two speaker stands for the rear speakers to improve the setup. The process of setting up the rear speakers was straightforward, and the stands provided stability and improved the overall sound quality. Another use of AI in the speaker is the ability of the system to select the correct sound profile versus manually selecting it. One thing I would like to improve is the display. Instead of showing Optical output or eARC, you can customize the digital display to show, say, TV or whatever the source was.

Besides setting the rear and top levels volume to +6 I found out that by using the adaptive sound mode this is where the 9500S surround speakers shine on, the sound of my Q8000A soundbar was already amazing (be it music, movies , video games, everything sounds great) but when I paired the surround speakers with the soundbar I realized what I had been missing out, it was night and day , as soon as the rear speakers kicked in I knew I was in for a treat, it's just truly amazing the sound I get from these speakers working in tandem with my soundbar. I will no longer use a soundbar without rear speakers, and these not needing a hub to connect to is just the icing on the cake.

Hope Sonos does a software update to be able to switch these between being a set of rear surround sound speakers to Bluetooth speakers to play music to with ease.

We bought a few surround sound systems prior to purchasing these speakers, I wish I hadn't wasted the money on the other products! These are easy and simple to use and have great sound for such a compact speaker. If I had more Roku TVs in my house I would buy a set for each one.

Over a few months I had researched many leading brands for wireless surround sound systems I decided to go with the Sonos Arc and it's amazing. The setup, tuning and use of the app is so simple. I have since added 2-Era 300 and 1-sub (big one)... OMG it's awesome I won't need to go to the theatre again
