I am for the most part a one-man band when it comes to shooting video. When I set up a scene I often use a mic boom stand to hold my Rode's Video Mic while I monitor my DSLR camera. Before I purchased this adapter I used the mic handle that came with my Video Mic and the standard mic clip on the mic stand. What a pain that was to keep the mic in place and pointing correctly at the talent. Now, with this adapter I am able to position the Video Mic exactly where I want it thanks to the swivel ball on this product. I especially like that it is well constructed and solid feeling.No complaints with this item :) 5 |
