If you have a regular hollow 1.75mm Mast then you can get this adapter to convert it to a regular baby Pin Mast. I already had a hollow mast that came with a camera system accessory for Inovativ Scout 37 and upon checking with folks at Inovativ, I bought it to upgrade it. First time inserting the pole, you'll experience some jamming because the tip of the baby pin mast pole is expanded a bit. Just grab some WD-40 and spray inside the mast and you'll be good to go. Inserting the plastic cap that came with original Mast won't do the job because doing so creates a suction effect and won't allow the mast extension to move smoothly. So yeah, the other end will have to stay hollow in order for this to work. 5 |

I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up. My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action. I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS. 5 |

Perfect addition to my Giant Gitzo and a chance to toss the Studio Assets camera mast in to the do-not-use pile. Gets my Gitzo up to 16 feet - which is more than enough and it is STABLE. No more putting the D850 atop a mast with a 19 PC and hoping it does not tilt over. 5 |
