Suunto Core Battery Cr2032

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

This dummy battery by GyroVu D-Tap works perfectly with my CORE SWX PowerBase Battery. Highly recommend this as a solution for the XT4 or others.

If you're using the BMPCC 6K Camera while also powering the Samsung T5 SSD and perhaps using phantom power then you need this battery. I have two. They each last around 3 hours. New Official Canon LP-E6N Batteries last only 17-22 minutes under that load. The microphone I am using is the Sennheiser MKE-600 Shotgun Mic so you might wonder why I don't simply use an AA battery and skip the Phantom Power. The reason is Phantom Power provides a hotter signal which produces better sounding audio vs the AA Battery. I tried using just one Core SWX Battery and mixing in (8) LP-E6N's, but switching out the short life LP-E6N's became too much of a hassle so I opted for the 2nd Core SWX.

Just took on one gig so far with the CORE SXW Poweredge battery and I love it... 4K, Luts, dynamic range, surprisingly excellent low light quality... There's a lot to love about it. I went with the 4K model + Metabones Speedbooster because it offers more flexibility, plus 6K is overkill for what I do. Basically paid it back in full on my very first gig with it. Love it!

If you own a BMPCC or are thinking of buying one, power management is going to be key to your operator experience. This Core SWX Powerbase checks all the marks. In my opinion, you have three, maybe four options to power the BMPCC. Carry a bunch of E-6 batteries around and constantly worry about when the power will drop on the camera (about every 40 minutes, if you're lucky); Buy an expensive V-mount battery brick which is heavy and needs a charging plate as well as the battery (Expensive option) or you can get this EDGE battery with a special adapter included especially for the BMPCCs. Charging is fast and you will get about 3 to 3.5 hours of continual usage. Plug it in with mains and it will charge while it's connected to the AC outlet. The best part is how lightweight this unit is. It comes with a detachable plate so you can quickly swap ours with other units. Once I got mine, I immediately ordered two more. Never worry about battery juice for your BMPCC again with these wonderful Core SWX Powerbase EDGE batteries. They will make your productions Bettery!

I ordered the Core Nano 98 KAH battery for use with an Edelkrone HeadPlus motorized pan-tilt device. It is a much better fit for the side-mounted V-Mount plate or the more useful EdelKrone V-mount Power Source, which has 4 barrel outputs (full voltage) for the HeadPlus and FocusPro motor.

I use this dummy battery cable with my Panasonic GH5 with a Core Powerbase Edge mounted to the bottom of the camera. The display on the battery shows 8 hours of record time left after using it for about an hour. I love It so far! I thought I would get about 4 hours. This is great and just what I wanted for my GH5, the factory batteries don't last long so I'm always charging. If you don't mind a little more bulk and a little extra weight, this is really good option. I'm leaving a photo .
