Svs Speakers Vs Klipsch Reference Premiere

OK, long story short. . . . Been through a few speakers over my lifetime from Polks, Definitive Tech, Thiel, SVS, and, thankfully, now this Klipsch. I'll spare all the audiophile hyperbole, but listening to great music and great audio gear has been a passion of mine for decades. Vinyl, CDs, streaming, etc from mostly jazz, contemporary instrumental, classical, some pop, rock, some hip hop. . . but mostly my tastes are accoustic Jazz trios, female voice, choral classical. I sent back my SVS ultras because they are coming out with new line of speakers and thought I'd wait for the latest and greatest. Found out, however, that SVS is no longer making speakers in the U.S. so went back to this Klipsch knowing they are made in U.S. All I can say, is run, don't walk. . . . this is in a whole other league than any speaker I have ever owned. They're not speakers - they're alive. In my opinion, however well intended, online reviews comparing this speaker to the SVS ultra is a complete miss. This speaker is in an entirely other league than the SVS ultras. When I mean NOT EVEN CLOSE - I mean, I honestly don't understand where certain reviewers were coming from. Having had both - SVS Ultras for about a month, and now this klipsch for a couple of hours, it is simply night and day. This speaker is so well balanced from top to bottom with dynamics to boot, but it can play the most delicate music with finesse and intimacy. In 35 years of buying speakers, I've never sat in front of a pair and had chills or border line tears with the sublimity these things play. They are absolutely effortless from hard driving Jazz like Mr. PC with John Coltrane, Gregory Porter "Free" . . . or Chamber music.

Can’t say enough about the quality that goes into Klipsch speakers. I’ve had multiple sets from Polk to Bose and I have to say my current will be my last. This reference premier paired with my Denon AVR is a room pounding glass breaker. Love this system.

Adding these to my home theater changed the way I listen when watching movies. I have a pair of Klipsch RP8000 as fronts with a B&W Nautilus center, SVS rear, 2 REL 12" subs in the rear and a pair of SVS 13" subs up front. These are what was missing. Sure I had enough of the low end, the fronts and center were great but there was one dimension that was missing, these. I added these to make an 11.1.4 system and the increased dimensional sound was amazing. I was missing the side dimension as say a vehicle, ammunition, etc., were passing by. previously it would move from front to rear almost as though the sound had decreased until it reached the rear but the level of direction these provide gave moving another full option when listening. Truly a great pair of high quality speakers. Klipsch buyer since 1987 when I purchased my first pair of K-Horns.

Excellent at damping down the reverberations with my Klipsch Reference Series RT-10d. My Sub is a heavy and weird triangle shape, but this fist all the three feet of the sub and does effectively dampen the vibrations. My - storey house would rattle, not an more. This is the simplest yet effective accessory I did not even know I needed. Highly recommend it for the dedicated subs! Remember to recaliberate your speakers after the installation.

great subwoofer!!!! hits well and I put in corner for best results!!! I highly recommend to all. I have a reference series by Klipsch and this sub only enhances sounds!!!! i recommend all Klipsch speakers!!!!!! They definitely kick but!!!!!

I'm enjoying the Klipsch speakers very much. Seldom have I made a purchase that was so completely satisfying.

These are great heavy duty speaker stands. I use them for SVS Ultra bookshelf speakers. These stands can holds their weight easily. The stands look great also, and very high quality. This is the fourth set of speaker stands I purchased, and they are by far the best.

I needed height/atmos speakers for my HT room, but in ceiling speakers weren't an option, and I am glad they weren't. These SVS speakers are amazingly good, especially considering their very reasonable cost. I now have height speakers that sound incredibly clear, and I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. Good construction, binding posts are solid, and these included a secure wall/ceiling mount, along with a template that made the mounting process easy and quick. These can be used in other HT configurations also (side, surround, etc.). I now have the SVS height speakers as well as 2 SVS subs. I am so impressed that I may replace my existing speakers with other SVS models. Very satisfied customer customer.

This subwoofer mates really well with the Bluetooth SVS bookshelf speakers. It even provides a Bluetooth app that enables access to all subwoofer controls from the app. It really completes the sound with the SVS speakers, providing complementary accurate base with a high degree of musicality.

This is now the 3rd pair of these speakers I own after expanding my collection twice. Simply put, the size and sonic performance of these satellites is solid and very hard to beat. I have coupled these in one of our media rooms with a pair of SVS PB 1000 Pro subs and couldn't be happier. The satellites are easy to place and blend nicely with the SVS subs which I also love. I am hooked on Definitive for value and performance.
