Swamp Cooler Electrical Switch

I just installed this smart switch for over 2 weeks but it is working perfectly. I use this switch to control a swamp cooler with 1/2 HP motor. I can turn on/off this switch over internet with my iPhone 6 anytime and anywhere. If it lasts long I will buy more (2 years warranty).

Just needed a replacement cord for my Bonaire swamp cooler. Couldn't find one anywhere else! Good price, and it arrived very quickly.

Kind of hoped it would start a swamp cooler motor. Just a tad to much start surge I guess. Works on the furnace, I use a tankless water heater it to needs 120v. I haven’t tested it to much yet so I will update.

Lets face it, it's just an electrical switch. Time will tell if it's a well made one. As a piano player I look for a strong weighty design, a noisless up and down travel, (the stops don't click like 'some' do) and enough resistance for it to feel like an acoustic piano sustain pedal. The SP-2 is the best one I've ever found. For the buck, you can't go wrong.

But still a 5-star product and experience. So the bad: no installation instructions are included, likely to reduce hazards/risks with your home electrical system. An important part of this to note is it REQUIRES a neutral wire. If your home had older electrical wires to the switch box, there may be a chance that the neutral wire (most likely a white wire) is not available, and this switch WILL NOT work without it. However, install is very straight forward if you understand how to safely install into your home electrical system. The switch is not as bulky as some, so there was more than enough room to place it on a 3 switch box/face plate with room to adjust. This is not our first TP-Link smart product, but know that their Kasa Smart App is REQUIRED at least for initial setup. The app is extremely quick with setting up new devices, and this switch is no exception. Our Alexa also instantly identified the new device from the Kasa App and is very quick at turning on/off with voice commands. From unboxing to working with Alexa, it took about 30 minutes to get both switches running. Again, despite the lack of instructions (and the requirement for a neutral wire that your standard switches don’t need/use), amazingly simple quick and efficient product!

Recently made the switch from intel to amd with this processor. the performance is impressive for the price, and runs cooler than my intel setup. Sufficient for my needs in gaming and photo editing.

This switch is flexible with selection of which ports get PoE and whether the port LEDs are on or off. It runs cooler than a Netgear ProSafe Plus switch that was purchased 8 years earlier.

This POE switch runs cooler than the Ubiquiti 8 port 150w POE switch I swapped it out for.  Haven’t heard the fans run at all in this switch. Setup was completed in less than 15 minutes including the firmware upgrade. Very satisfied with this purchase.
