This shelf does exactly what it's supposed to do. And...it is the cheapest one I've found on the internet. Cheaper than GC, Amazon, Sweetwater, and other stores. Should I ever need another one or three, this will be the one I get!!

As a long time "high end" audio equipment owner,I was forced to sell my music collection and equipment after the recession of 2008,to fund my small business and make a wedding for my lovely daughter . I had always missed the great music and carefully selected albums and CD's I had gotten over the years,never thinking I could replace them without spending a boat load of cash...I missed my music,sorely! One day(eleven years later) a friend bought a stereo pair of Play 5 Gen 2's.He invited me over to check them out ....and....I was floored by the sound quality and abundant musical catalog available with streaming! So,I decided to get a pair of the Play 5's,but also add the sub.....I figured why not go for the best possible option available and BOY WHAT A SURPRISE! I was careful to set the system up correctly,with regards to room acoustics,even though there is a Trueplay feature,but a good room is important,imo.......I also added a low-ish cost power strip(Furman PST-8) to protect the set up and isolate each component connected.It also does some filtering of the power line....Can't hurt. Never,would I have imagined this kind of sound quality and available music catalog could be made available to me,without having to spend crazy money and hunt down all the music I had collected for over 30 years....but....Here it is! I anxiously await the soon to come high res app that Sonos will release,because everything,though sounds superb currently,will be better.......I just can't get over how much value is packed into this combination of audio equipment......I also don't think the main stream audio community would acknowledge that here is a company dedicated to bring this caliber of performance to the masses at a very fair price.....with continual support.....GREAT JOB SONOS!

Works great, fast data transfers and no latency with music equipment

I use this as a road case for my electronic music equipment. On the road this is excellent for protecting my gear under all conditions and stands up to the abuse of loading in/out at all types of venues and weather conditions. The big bonus is the light weight and portablility.

I listened to CD music for decades on what I thought were good players, but buying this transport and plugging it into my DAC has changed my view completely. CDs (before the advent of digital music files) were always a nice portable medium with good sound quality. It was nice to get rid of the handling and storage issues of LPs, but deep down, LPs still sounded better. Now, with the Audiolab transport, I can enjoy listening to CD music as much as I have ever enjoyed listening to LPs. All of the music is there! It was getting lost in the 0s and 1s, somewhere, but this transport has magically found them. I will never look back, and never think of CD music the same. This is a quality piece of equipment available at a price comparable to much inferior equipment. Buy it!

It was exactly the right size for a custom piece of music equipment. I have used Gator for cases and bags for years and this one is great. Additionally, B&H was the only supplier that had one in stock ready to ship. Other sellers required advanced order.

I am not an AV person, so learning the equipment I’d need to make some more engaging live music performances was at first overwhelming. However, this piece is very user-friendly, not to mention the support staff at Roland were phenomenal at answering all of my questions clearly and within record timing. The unit itself is about the same size as a Boss switch pedal. The buttons are strong, not too mushy when you press down. I prefer to use the slider to change angles, but the option for both slider and button comes in handy depending on how you want the edit. I also use this piece to teach piano lessons and it has helped IMMENSELY during this pandemic. This is a great piece and I can use it in many situations

I am a musician and a teacher. A friend of mine has one of these and when I found out about it, had to have it. This cart can hold everything I use, from music equipment and instruments to teaching supplies. It folds out or away easily and rolls with no effort at all. The cart fits perfectly in my car, even extended. It's a little workhorse. After struggling for years with handcarts, this 8 in 1 transporter is the answer to a prayer.
