Swissgear Waterproof Dslr Camera Backpack

In week 4 of using the backpack, very impressed with it. I used a swissgear backpack for many years and transitioned to a more business laptop carrying back the last 2 years but was upgrading and needed to be able to have more stuff follow me between home and the office. The quality of this is outstanding, i haven't ran across anything yet where I thought "i don't like that". I carry a lenova mobile workstation so thick laptop, ipad, two notepads in the large pouch, airbuds and others quick electronics in the top pouch, smaller notebooks and accessories' cables in the the next one. the one after that is a little more shallow which is great for my trackball and charger cord, and the front pouch has my pens, work specific keys, business cards and other smaller items. I still have a ton more room in each compartment. It's starting to get warm here and in full 2 strap backpack mode I do still get a little sweat but I'm a larger guy, this is just a note and not a complaint. If anything changes I will come back and update but so far I'm very happy with this purchase. 5 |

Keys are extremely quiet. Short enough to fit into a SwissGear computer backpack. Comfortable to use. Good price. 5 |

Great Camera Backpack, actually the best I have purchased for a small backpack, great construction, I had fit a DSLR with 2 medium size zoom lens, 2 flash units, filters, batteries, SD cards, a gray card and still have space for a few small items or papers. It also come with a rain coat. 5 |

i put all my lenses and camera in these pouches when they are not in my camera bag. I use these for travel inside my waterproof backpack with going to an island or beach. they protect my eq and my aquapac keeps my eq from getting wet in the rain or on the boat. 5 |

I've been doing research on camera backpack for a week and stayed in a camera store for an afternoon and finally decided to buy this. It is one of very few bags that meet these requirements: - Lightweight ( 3lb). - Fits a 13 laptop. - Fits a DSLR + a mirrorless camera + 6 lenses in various sizes. - Not exaggeratively large. This backpack fits my Canon DSLR, Sony mirrorless, and 6 lenses in different sizes. If I arrange it more tightly, it can even fit an additional 70-200 f/4 telephoto lens. A 13 laptop or 12.9 iPad Pro fits neatly. In addition, it has another dedicated slot for 9.7 iPad. I haven't carried it outdoors, but I can foresee that the accessibility may not be as good as other bags that have side and back doors. But those bags are usually more expensive and heavier. 5 |

I got this for a 5 night 45 mile backpack trip in the High Sierra so I could get DSLR shots while hiking, not just at camp. It worked great and did not bounce around with the Nikon D750 and 18-35mm G lens I was using. It was a bit difficult to attach it to my full sized backpack strap but it did go on and then was secure for the whole trip. I was using hiking poles and the camera did not get in the way of the poleing motion. I even kept it attached while climbing over boulders on some off-trail passes. My only negative is that the sliding/snapping action did get less smooth after a few days. This could be due to tiny chips in the finish after sliding it in over and over. This is a must have for backpacking with a DSLR. I've been on lots of trips where my big camera sits in my pack all day and only gets used at camp or maybe at lunch and I have a point and shoot in my pocket for quick shots while on the move. I can now get DSLR shots while hiking and even faster than pulling a small camera or phone out of my pocket. The clip is a game changer for hiking and backpacking, the only problem is now I have even more shots to sort through. 5 |

I love this bag. Its just the right size for a DSLR with mounted lens plus an extra lens/mini tripod or whatever little items you want to throw in there. I needed something I could hike and bike with but that was smaller than a backpack and easier/quicker to access. I wear it hands free, over my head and diagonally across my shoulder/neck and under my arm. I usually have it resting across my left chest with the lens pointing down so I can unzip and pull out the camera very easily and quickly and also place it back in. I have a bunch of gear in my camera backpack and was always hesitant to bring it on day trips or even abroad because I didn't want to lug all this stuff around with me so the end result was that I was never bringing my DSLR with me anywhere. With this bag I bring a minimal set up that covers quick, on the fly shooting so I end up actually using my DSLR over my iPhone, which obviously has much better lenses. It's not heavy or an obstruction when running, biking, kayaking, skateboarding down the street, etc. Its great. 5 |

This is definitely not a carry all DSLR backpack, however if your looking for a safe, functional, inexpensive, and high durability backpack. THIS IS IT. I am an amateur photo/video enthusiast and this backpack holds what I need, and is very sturdy. There is more than adequate padding and I appreciate that its not black like 90% of camera backpacks and it doesn't look like a tech bag. I personally wanted a camera bag with no front or side access so that my gear would only be accessible next to my back so for me thats a bonus. It comes with a few features that you wouldn't necessarily expect for a $40 backpack like a rain cover stored in the very bottom pouch, plus a chest and waist strap. If your looking to spend very little and don't have a ton of gear this is a great bag. I have no worries about the safety of my gear. 5 |
