Switch Camera While Recording Iphone 15

The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts.  Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical. The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options). The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice. Worth the money.

While I prefer how the Rode Video Mic Pro sounds, its drawback is relying on often sub-par camera mic pre-amps. Not so, with the LensHopper VP83F. Plus, its not tied to your camera, so you can close mic your subject with a boom. And if you're using it for run and gun attached to the cold shoe of your camera, you get the added bonus of having an in-camera back up recording via the mic out. I mostly use it for run and gun, but it has also saved my bacon more than once, when a subject's movements made the lav recording unusable.

While doing some wildlife photography, I used the switch with a Sony a9 to take one image every 10 seconds. Using the Sony 4 battery module the camera took over 2500 images (8-9 hours) before the Sony batteries gave out. The switch was still trying to trigger the camera the next day when I picked up my gear! I have used a canon designated vello switch with my canon 1dx2 with similar good results. I am happy with my purchase.

I have not yet used it in the field, but look forward to the opportunity to switch between my Ar-10 and Ar-15 while shooting.

If you have mic'd headphones, then this TRRS is useful for monitoring and recording on a lightning input iPhone.

Works great. I had the previous generation and it does not disappoint, which was my switch from iPhone to Android.

I ordered the 15 foot version and could not be happier. Using to connect an iPhone ( with vga adaptor) to the VGA input on an older boat television. Moderate gauge wire for audio and video....I know it is an old school wired connection...but hey works well. Cables say quality the minute you touch them. BTW... I have 40 years of electrical engineering experience. Just buy it.
