Switch Controller Battery Life

Very easy to use. One draw back is there is no on/off switch but it says battery should last 3 yrs. I have used this Controller to do time-lapse photos, long exposure and even helped with my pole photography. 5 |

Small and very lightweight. Easy to calibrate, but sometimes have to remove battery to re-calibrate. The thin controller that goes with is brilliant. And on/off switch would help. It’s tricky to figure out to push the battery to the side. 5 |

So I'll just get this out of the way... the battery life IS as bad as everyone says. HOWEVER, if you switch the meter to voltage, you'll see how much power you actually have left. Aftermarket batteries don't give accurate readings. So, first upgrade, after a cage and T5 should definitely be a V mount. Aside from that WOAH BABY! The performance is exactly what I was hoping for! Shot on a GH5 before. And now I look at that camera like it's going to collect dust or just be the in case backup. No stabilization, no problem though if you have a solid gimbal setup. The image is INSANE! 5 |

The switch was quickly adopted by the controller and was up and running in a few minutes. 5 |

They sound good, comfy, and battery life is good. Plus, the button to quickly switch among devices is convenient. 5 |

I use this grip on my Canon to extend the battery life without having to switch out and carry extra batteries. The grip adds a nice weight to the camera and works perfectly when turning the camera for vertical shots. When attached to the camera, it is almost seamless. It's like I bought a whole new camera for a fraction of the price! I would recommend this product to anyone as long as they are comfortable with the extra weight. 5 |

Make sure that it is the right connection for your camera. This remote switch has an incredibly long battery life and works perfectly for my time lapse photography needs. Easy to program. I have never had any troubles when using this for over 4 years. 5 |

I shoot network television so I need equipment that is not going to fail on me. I've found the 150's battery life to outlast my Anton Bauer, IDX, and Sony batteries. I use them mostly on my Nanlite Forza 300 HMI's and get over an hour of battery life on the light before I need to switch batteries. A powerful feature is the LED display telling you how much time is left on the battery. It changes depending on the device you have it attached to. If I have the batteries on my HMI it may say around an hour. If I switch it to my Sony F5 it changes to 4 hours, and if you hook up an iPhone to the USB charging port you will get about 12 hours. It also counts down the minutes. You really can't beat that feature especially when you are doing a live shot or doing an interview that you don't want interrupted by a battery exchange. 5 |

I does what it is supposed to do. I see complaints about battery life for the transmitter. There is no off switch so what I think happens in something in their camera bag pushes the button and runs the battery down. I just put mine in a small hard point and shoot case, End of problem and it keeps al the parts in one place! 5 |
