Switch Emulator Windows

Connected via a KVM switch to use between two computers. One is MS Windows and the other is a High powered Linux machine. So far no problems what so ever.

This little device works great. I'm using it to switch between my desktop (which is a FreeBSD workstation) and my laptop (which is Windows XP) and it goes back and forth just fine without a problem!

At my desk, I have a Mac Mini and a Windows PC that I switch between from time to time. Before, when switching between them, I would be swapping over the wireless mouse dongle from the Windows PC to the Mac, as well as a wired keyboard. Needless to say, that was a pain of a process, especially with the Mac Mini under a monitor riser and the connections in the rear. Not great! I saw this product reviewed by Lon Seidman on YouTube and instantly knew I had to get it. Now, switching between the computers is much simpler. Just tap the switch button on my desk and switch the monitors input, and everything now works on the second computer. I'm even able to have my microphone carry over as well, which I never switched over previously! Additionally, if I ever want to use a different machine, such as my Surface or another Laptop, connected to my desk monitor, I can easily connect it to this switcher and use all of my desk peripherals in a snap. It's really great! The only negative I would say about this product is that in my setup the main box sits behind my desk against the wall, not in visual sight, so you can't see which computer is active before use or while you're switching. It's honestly not really a problem at all because you can quickly cycle through and find out if you're set to the device you're trying to use, but if I had to include a knock, that's the only one I've got!

Recently moved in to a new house and had the home automation company run Cat6A from my office to the wiring closet. I purchased a Ubiquiti 48 Port Switch with 2 SFP+ and 2 SFP ports. Added the 10G Copper SFP+ module and some good Hubbell Cat6A Patch cables on each end. Installed the Sonnet Solo in my existing Windows 10 Pro desktop... downloaded the driver and firmware from Sonnet's web site. Firmware and driver installed flawlessly. Windows 10 easily sees new card. Satisfying to see the white light (10G) connectivity on my Ubiquiti Switch. Highly recommend. Am purchasing another one to install in my home server so I'll have 10GB from desktop to server.

This gizmo cleared lots of space on my desk. I switch my 27 monitor between a Windows laptop and an iMac, and the armature makes it very easy to do that. It was very easy to install. The components are high-quality aluminum and the fittings are smooth. Adjustment is easy.

I was a Windows user all my life and decided to finally switch to a Mac after the last couple of devices I owned. While they worked well, there were always little annoyances and quality control issues that made those devices more of a hassle to use. I have owned this Macbook Pro for a couple of weeks and I am loving it so far. I do not regret my decision. The checkout process was easy and shipping times were really fast too. So kudos to B&H for a better shopping experience.

I had to switch from Mac to Windows for my new job. As a video editor I loved the flexibility the Magic Mouse provided with its trackpad. This is perfect for those Mac users who have to switch to Windows, or those who love to horizontal scroll and do video editing or graphic design. I was worried this was going to be too small but this fits well even with my big hands.

i'm using this to switch between 3 dual monitor machines; two are windows 7, one is windows XP. product has worked perfectly since i've had it (2 months). I had some trouble setting up my wireless mouse, but managed to get their support folks to call me and walk me through the process.

This makes my desk so much cleaner, and makes it easy to switch between home and work devices. When my spouse needs to take a video meeting, she can just plug her laptop right in and get the advantages of a great screen, camera, speakers, keyboard and mouse without needing to use my computer. I researched the dock quite a bit before buying, and it actually works better than I expected it to. Pros: 1. Lots of ports 2. Can handle a Logitech Brio webcam -- many hubs cannot 3. All of the buttons except one (join meeting) work with Windows AND ChromeOS 4. The shape is great 5. Sound quality is decent 6. Microphone is good for speech Cons: 1. A tad pricey 2. No ethernet -- I had to use another adapter 3. Join meeting button doesn't work on ChromeOS 4. Volume changes can occur on ChromeOS without button presses -- where the volume from the device does not match the OS volume. This sometimes means the sound turns off entirely or gets really loud in the middle of a meeting. 5. If you use both the microphone button on the device and the one in the browser in ChromeOS, things get out of sync, and no one can hear you. Never had this happen in Windows. I definitely recommend it if you are on Windows and Mac primarily. If you are on ChromeOS, be prepared for some hiccups, but it is quite functional. I switch between devices on an almost daily basis, and it handles that well. How to make it perfect: 1. Ethernet port 2. A microphone better for more than just speech (such as music lessons) 3. Fewer bugs in the ChromeOS integration, and add "join meeting" support 4. Allow pairing bluetooth mice directly to the dock, instead of to a computer. Also, ideally build in both other common types of Logitech dongle (unifying receiver and Logi Bolt). 5. Allow pairing arbitrary bluetooth headsets directly to the dock, instead of only supporting Logitech headphones.
