If your computer is not loaded with USB ports, here's your solution. An On/Off switch for each port. 5 |

This makes my desk so much cleaner, and makes it easy to switch between home and work devices. When my spouse needs to take a video meeting, she can just plug her laptop right in and get the advantages of a great screen, camera, speakers, keyboard and mouse without needing to use my computer. I researched the dock quite a bit before buying, and it actually works better than I expected it to. Pros: 1. Lots of ports 2. Can handle a Logitech Brio webcam -- many hubs cannot 3. All of the buttons except one (join meeting) work with Windows AND ChromeOS 4. The shape is great 5. Sound quality is decent 6. Microphone is good for speech Cons: 1. A tad pricey 2. No ethernet -- I had to use another adapter 3. Join meeting button doesn't work on ChromeOS 4. Volume changes can occur on ChromeOS without button presses -- where the volume from the device does not match the OS volume. This sometimes means the sound turns off entirely or gets really loud in the middle of a meeting. 5. If you use both the microphone button on the device and the one in the browser in ChromeOS, things get out of sync, and no one can hear you. Never had this happen in Windows. I definitely recommend it if you are on Windows and Mac primarily. If you are on ChromeOS, be prepared for some hiccups, but it is quite functional. I switch between devices on an almost daily basis, and it handles that well. How to make it perfect: 1. Ethernet port 2. A microphone better for more than just speech (such as music lessons) 3. Fewer bugs in the ChromeOS integration, and add "join meeting" support 4. Allow pairing bluetooth mice directly to the dock, instead of to a computer. Also, ideally build in both other common types of Logitech dongle (unifying receiver and Logi Bolt). 5. Allow pairing arbitrary bluetooth headsets directly to the dock, instead of only supporting Logitech headphones. 5 |

I switch between a Window 7, Windows XP, and Mac computer with no problems. Once I turned off the mouse emulation I was able to use MS Sidewinder. No problems with wired or wireless keyboard/mouse. 5 |

This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK for testing and feedback as part of their review program. I replaced a standard manual wall switch with the HS200 Smart Switch. So now my Living Room Chandelier is connected by Wi-Fi to the Internet and can be remotely controlled using my Smartphone or Tablet from anywhere in the world. I had a single switch wall box which turned a large decorative Living Room Chandelier On/Off. I replaced that manual switch with the HS200 Smart Switch. Since the Chandelier is visible to the street, through a window, I reasoned that having it controlled by a Smart Switch could help deter burglars. I had no problems installing the HS200. My existing single switch wall box had a Neutral Line and I used the plastic HS200 Switch Plate. As for manual operation, a gentle tap on the large rectangular button turns the HS200 On or Off. It's a momentary switch. Very little movement is needed to toggle between On and Off. An internal glowing circle of light makes it easy to locate the Smart Switch in a dark room. Below the main HS200 On/Off switch are two small rectangular buttons. RESET for an App or Factory Reset. RESTART to reboot. The HS200 works with Kasa, a free Android and iOS app. Kasa on your Smartphone or Tablet can turn the Smart Switch On/Off locally and remotely. Voice commands work on Amazon Alexa devices (Echo, Echo Dot, Tap). With Alexa, multiple TP-LINK Smart Switches and Plugs can be grouped under one name. HS200 Wi-Fi operates on the 2.4GHz band. That gives it a good Wi-Fi range and makes it compatible with all routers. If the 5GHz band had been used, the speed increase would have been inconsequential, but the range would have been less and older routers wouldn't have been accommodated. I've been using TP-LINK HS100 and HS110 Smart Plugs to automate my home for several months. They have worked great. My Smart Plugs control a fan, desk lamp, air conditioner, and TP-LINK NC250 Security Camera. 5 |

Wi-Fi connections have been stable and reliable. Likewise, for my new HS200 Smart Wall Switch. All these TP-LINK Smart devices are located several rooms away far from the router. They never disconnect. My routers are the the TP-LINK Archer C3150 and C5400. Kasa, on multiple Android tablets, controls these Smart Plugs and the Smart Switch, Locally (in the same house over the same LAN) and Remotely (wherever Internet is available). Anyone paranoid about security, can just skip Cloud Account registration which disables Remote control. My Smart Plugs and Smart Wall Switch all work fine both Locally and Remotely. Just plugged them in and configured on an Android tablet with Kasa. I didn't need to edit anything in my router's configuration. Setup was simple. Anyone can get these TP-LINK Smart devices working. The HS200 Smart Wall Switch is also a sophisticated digital rule-based timer. Schedule events to turn a device On/Off, selecting times and days of the week; even different times on different days. Away Mode specifies a time period during which a connected device will turn On/Off randomly, mimicking someone being at home. In Schedule and Away Mode, SUNRISE or SUNSET can also be assigned. Timer turns a connected device either On/Off after a specified period of time. Preparation is the key to successfully installing and wiring the HS200. TP-LINK does its best to help with three comprehensive tutorials. Suggest doing some homework before tackling this project. You need a single switch wall box that has a four-wire system (2 live/load wires, 1 ground wire, 1 neutral line). Don't rely on the color coding of old wires. (1.) YouTube video, TP-LINK HS200 Smart WiFi Light Switch Setup Tutorial. (2.) TP-LINK website, FAQ-1128, How to install TP-LINK Smart Plug to your electrical line. (3.) Kasa App, Kasa will guide you through the wiring process. In Kasa select Add device, SMART SWITCH, Before we start, NOT YET, Lets get started. 5 |
