Switch Pro Controller Battery Life Indicator

This light is really nice, it can get very bright and I like that it has temperature adjustments. Battery life is good and it has a nice indicator for the battery level. My only complaint is that I didn't realize it was an adhesive suction cup mount - I use this light detached from the mount because I don't want to damage my work laptop. It can fit a standard desk tripod, but for now I have it sitting on a stack of books.

These are some nice batteries. Long life, reliable life indicator. That's it. Don't use off brand, this is worth it. I opted for the standard size over the larger battery because I wanted my c300's battery door to close and keep out the grime of the world.

I sold my zoom H4N to get this, and ever since it has made life so much easier! The battery indicator still gives inaccurate battery life, but at the end of its 2-ish hours of battery life, it will save the file it's currently recording before shutting down. Other things such as a dedicated line out port, ability to set either just one or both xlr ports to have phantom power, and physical dials for changing levels just makes recording that much less stressful. The ONLY thing that I find worse on this unit is the jog wheel on the side (for navigating the menu) which is a bit harder to press than the one on the h4n. The preamp is still not the best (it's a tad better than the h4n), but the zoom products have never been about getting the absolute best audio, but more so just getting an all in one recorder that's simple and versatile. I am so so happy with this unit.

Battery has worked well, indicator is really nice.

Very easy to use. One draw back is there is no on/off switch but it says battery should last 3 yrs. I have used this Controller to do time-lapse photos, long exposure and even helped with my pole photography.

Small and very lightweight. Easy to calibrate, but sometimes have to remove battery to re-calibrate. The thin controller that goes with is brilliant. And on/off switch would help. It’s tricky to figure out to push the battery to the side.

I love the upgrade of the speakers on the pro and the battery life is better also!! Love them!!

So I'll just get this out of the way... the battery life IS as bad as everyone says. HOWEVER, if you switch the meter to voltage, you'll see how much power you actually have left. Aftermarket batteries don't give accurate readings. So, first upgrade, after a cage and T5 should definitely be a V mount. Aside from that WOAH BABY! The performance is exactly what I was hoping for! Shot on a GH5 before. And now I look at that camera like it's going to collect dust or just be the in case backup. No stabilization, no problem though if you have a solid gimbal setup. The image is INSANE!

The switch was quickly adopted by the controller and was up and running in a few minutes.
