This new Mavic 3 smart controller, the DJI RC Pro, is awesome. It seems very well made, feels great in the hands, and has a very clear, crisp, and bright display. It is day and night better than using the standard controller with a phone or tablet mainly due to better visibility. It is expensive and that is a downside, but a bigger downside is there is currently no backward compatibility; and currently no one seems to know if there ever will be. If you love your Mavic 3 and accept the downsides then you will probably love this controller. 5 |

Simple to use on the EOS R and has been totally reliable so far. Feels a little cheap, especially the mode slider switch on the side, but it IS fairly cheap, so I can't complain too much. It was smart to separate AF from the shutter button. Functionally it's wonderful and very handy. I use it for starting and stopping video recording, mostly, which makes editing much simpler. 5 |
