I absolutely love this focal range and very much missed having it when I made the switch from canon. I had to just bite the bullet and buy it. I can tell you I'm not disappointed with my choice! I have this lens along with the 24-70 GM it matches up perfectly. I hate to say it but if one puts their camera (in my case A7riii) into auto mode you will get "pro" quality images.

At the time you get a digital equipment, you missed some features that you use to have on your analog camera. The remote switch help you to obtain better shots when you have to control the objects you are shooting. Even for an amateur photographer, the remote control, is an accesory you need to have. Thank Canon to keep on market many features to the DC-10, the most valuable equipment I have. Although, the cord is to short in many cases.

I couldn't wait for this grip to be available. I missed not being able to quickly switch from portrait to landscape and have all the important controls literally at my fingertips. But I didn't want to pay the Canon price. I've used the Vello grips on other cameras and they've worked great. So does this one. The only improvement I could suggest is that the area where your thumb rests could be molded to be a little more comfortable.
