I wanted a desktop controller for my studio B and this bad boy was the perfect choice. I have another brand in my main studio, so I was anxious to try this one out. It's very simple and looks great. It doesn't take up a lot of room, but has a lot to offer. I tend to play music from different sources and through different sources (i.e. mixing songs) and this guy has everything you need right there to do so. Play it through your computer interface and quickly control the volume of your speakers, switch speakers A/B, check your mix with mono and dim, or just mute everything - it's all right there. Then, if you want to plug in a tablet, a phone, or mp3 player or something, there's a short 3.5mm cord that comes with it (nice touch). Just plug in and switch your source and play things that way. You wouldn't think a centralized system would be so impactful to your work flow, but it really helps. 5 |

Needed to plug in a keyboard controller to my MacBook Pro. USB C and USB B are electrically compatible. Why are there not more of these cables? I went to a big box store and a local geek store in the college part of town. At both places the 20 something kids didn't even know what USB B was! I'd think there would be a ton of people plugging USB printers etc into USB C computers. Guess it's just me. Well B&H had this cable. It works perfectly. More robust than I expected as well. I thought it was going to be a much dinkier cable honestly. Would buy again. Might in fact, just to have a backup in case. 5 |
