So far, I've had no issues so far with the controller in either Steam games or emulators. The controller feels just like a playstation controller, so it's easy to get used to the controls. And since the cord is so long, I could sit away from the computer on the couch. 10/10 Would buy again. 5 |

The bright blue light on the front is the on-off switch. I almost didn't buy this due to other reviews saying there was no switch. I received mine 2/9/2022 for a point of reference. I was also expecting typical mechanical drive sounds from it, but it is very quiet! I ran some random file transfer tests and it averaged round 225 MB/s writing to the 10TB d2 through my USB-C port with very little variance. I did laugh when I saw how bright and distracting the blue light in the on-off switch was once it started flashing to show drive activity. The main casing is aluminum and very sturdy and it has many small rubber feet on the bottom to isolate it from your desk top. For three bills, this is a great purchase. 5 |

There is no mention in the Sandisk website or product description about the LED light. There is a blue LED light under the switch, which will light blue and flash during activity if plugged into a port. Once you switch the head up to plug into a usb port, the LED light can appear once in, and writing/reading has begun. Very fast writing to a SSD. Very pleased. Durable also. 5 |

I got this on sale to use with my steam deck and nintendo switch to give me some extra room should my original 512GB SSD run out. I don't fancy messing around replacing the SSD given I'm only a casual gamer and don't play many AAA titles that need that much room. Recognised immediately and formatted without issue.
