I unexpectedly found that my existing aftermarket intervalometer that I previously used with my 5DMIII didn't work reliably with the R5. I replaced it with this remote switch. Very expensive for what it is, but the cord locks-in to the camera socket and the switch produces reliable results. 5 |

I actually used this for an automotive application, after installing a aftermarket radio with a usb port in the back. I purchased and installed this on the switch panel so I could plug a jump drive or cell phone into the connector instead of the wire supplied by the radio manufacturer. 5 |
