I use the Elgato Stream Deck XL for live-streaming sports. I primarily use it to switch scenes and activate and deactivate sources within OBS. Without it and its macro programming abilities, my livestreams would be extremely difficult to manage. Hotkeys are nice but the Steam Deck is a completely different experience. New technical directors are able to pick up the process quickly. 5 |

Purchased my second a7iv for events, sports and weddings. I use them for photography and video, which is the best solution for me. A couple best features is the dial to switch from photo settings to video settings. In photo mode where i'm shooting at 1/1000 and changing to video mode at 1/60 and back, it is as simple as changing mode switch. The other best feature is saving the settings to the SD card, then putting it into my other a7iv, using the load feature to configure the second camera to the exact settings as the first. Also have saved settings for sports, events, and weddings. I simply load the appropriate settings for event I going to shoot. Great features. 5 |
