Switch Wired Controller Without Dock

Work great!! Well worth the $$. With the Controller, it tells you how devices are wired.

The switch was quickly adopted by the controller and was up and running in a few minutes.

It's a wired remote switch. It works good. It has Canon written on it. Not much else to tell.

Makes using controller software simple as plugging into switch

My Ubiquiti controller adopted and updated the switch perfectly.

Installed second/satellite unit in my insulated attic with a wired backhaul. On my dock, 195 feet from the unit, still getting 135 Mbps out of a possible 175 Mbps service provided by ISP. Only obstacle is the insulated, asphalt-shingled roofline.

For almost my entire life I've always had some kind of dock or hub for my personal Macs. I need ports, Macs have never had enough. I've always opted for budget-friendly hubs, or models that were readily available at retailers like Best Buy or Target. I've never owned one that I would consider great. The IT department at my job provided this dock to use with my work computer, also a Mac. I was never wanting for a port. I can plug in a wired keyboard, wired mouse, two additional monitors, external HDDs and SSDs, as well as SD and MicroSD cards to pull footage. I looked it up on B&H and was shocked at the price, easily 3 times what I've ever paid for a personal hub. I've never had a single issue with it since I received it over a year ago. I ended up biting the bullet and buying one for my personal Mac and have not regretted it. Highly recommended.

With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi.

Overall this is a good solid case. The Avata 2, Goggles 3, Battery dock with 3 batteries and Controller 3 fit nicely. I have the bumpers on my avata 2 and it still fits fine. Plenty of room for accessories in the lid to store cables, extra props, power blocks and more. I recommend this case if you have all the above and want some protection.

Great buy at a great price. For those looking for a simple wired shutter switch this is the one.
