Sync With Laptop Samsung

I only bought this monitor for the USB-C DisplayPort AltMode so that I can connect my work laptop to it and share my connected peripherals between my gaming desktop and my laptop. The display is great, I've never used HDR before but I am quite pleased with how everything looks. Wall-mounting was a breeze by adding some spacers between the mounting holes and the bracket. The only complaint I have is the G-Sync compatibility of the monitor. I have a GTX1080 but the monitor's adaptive sync kept causing the screen to go black for a few seconds randomly when playing games that caused the refresh rate to dip too low. It's no longer a problem with adaptive sync disabled but I hope this issue goes away when I pair this display with a RTX4090. However, since it's not a G-Sync Ultimate monitor, I do not really care about the G-Sync compatible feature much. Like other users, I would love to see a hotkey assignment for the USB Port Select as it is tedious to go through the menu each time I want to swap between my desktop and laptop but it's not a big issue for me. Overall, it's a great monitor for a niche group of people and it sure saves a lot of cabling versus using a KVM switch and a USB-C hub.

I started with Samsung Multiroom, what a wast of time and money. Spent all my time trying to get al e speakers to sync. Then I got sonos installed in minutes and has worked perfectly every time.

I bought this to connect my computer to a 2016 Samsung 6-series 65 4K TV. Previous cables would not allow me to obtain sync when sending 4:4:4 color, but upon connecting with this cable I achieved stable sync with crisp clarity that is expected with 4:4:4 color format. The monitor maintains sync very well and I haven't noticed any glitches. Excellent cable, and the thickness/build quality prove it is very capable. I will be buying another one to connect my 2017 Samsung 6 series 43 TV as well to have 2 4K monitors for my desktop experience.

I have a 65 Samsung TV and just bought the Gradient Lightstrip and Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. I absolutely love it. It was very easy to set up and install. It adds a whole new perspective to the television. I already had other Hue lights in the house. It is awesome!

i love my samsung curve ive had it since 2020 and i learned new things everyday i love how it sync with my samsung smart tv and the view and curve style . its not a smart monitor but i turned it into a smart wireless and i use dual monitors so the samsung curve allows me to utilize the screen space and i plugged my mic to the aux on monitor

Although it took several attempts to sync with my Samsung A12 shutter (initially it wanted to control the zoom function) it works great, allowing a steadier hold and remote shutter trip. Light weight and inexpensive.

This is a great entry level tv. If you own a Samsung phone, there is no other choice. Samsung smart things app let's you sync and control this TV flawlessly.

I love the feel of the keyboard and the fact it sync absolutely with my Lenovo laptop for use on my monitor.

Set up this device on an old laptop to record HDMI videos. Tried the OBS Studio capture software mentioned by Vanco. It worked but was a bit resource intensive for the old laptop and really an overkill for what I needed (not planning to do streaming). After trying many capture software programs, I found that Bandicam works quite well with this device. Initially the audio was out of sync with the video (not a fault of the Vanco device) and then I found the sound wasn't set for the Vanco USB input but the laptop system sound instead. After that change, the recorded video and audio are now in sync. Note also that with some capture software the video and audio may appear out of sync during preview/recording but the recorded file may be fine. Bottom line, I'm very happy with the Vanco device.
