Fast and works as expected. Be sure to install the card, and boot up the Synology, THEN move the ethernet cord to it. Seems to not be recognized on initial startup. 5 |

I added two of these 4TB BX500 drives to my Synology 723+ to improve file transfer rates over 10gbps network. My transfer rates for older HDD drives capped out at 133MB/s. With these drives in RAID 0 I am now getting 350MB/s. Easily installed into the Synology. 5 |

We have 4 of these currently deployed in a Synology NAS for local file sharing/backup and a 5th for Synology Surveillance Station as a separate volume. They have not given us any issues and we have had a few of these deployed for 3+ years currently. 5 |

I purchased two of these drives for a 4-bay Synology NAS. The price point and performance speed work for my intended use. On the recommendation of an IT professional, I ran a drive check on the new drives before copying over my photo/video files. It took about 18 hours to run the media check, and the drives proved to have no problems. The recording media was perfect. 5 |
