Synology Internet Speed Test

Certainly the easiest way to get high speed internet on a synology box. Takes about 2 minutes to install.

I recently upgraded my cable internet to 1 gigabits/sec and my current Synology router cannot deliver that speed nor do I get consistent internet speed throughout my house. Second floor signal is very week. Netgear Orbi 752 fixes the problem. Speed is about 950 Mbs on both floors. Great product for the price.

I got two of these hard drives to use with my Synology DS1621 and so far they have been working great. I even did a speed test individually and the speeds were very close to what is advertised. It may still vary based on the interfaces being used in your scenarios.

I have Xfinity and one day I decide to do a speed test, I’m paying for gigabit internet and was barely getting 70 mbps with their provided router. The Netgear CM1000 was a breeze to setup and once registered, I ran an internet speed test to find out that I was now getting the maximum speed for my service. Highly recommend it.

This modem allows me to use my gigabyte Internet to its full capacity with no problem. Speed test shows 965 MB per second Internet speed download.

Wifi has long range of effectiveness. Internet connection is stable. My internet speed is 200 mbs and this modem router is doing a great job transferring the signal!
