I've owned an Epson XP-830 for years, and it's been a dependable color printer. But the Epson ET-8500 is superior to my old printer in many ways. The supertank ink system in the ET-8500 is far more efficient and cost-effective than the cartridge system in my old printer, and it will save me loads of money and time in the long run. Bought one for my wife and myself. My wife's XP system hardrive was 75% full. Very slow at all tasks. With the WD external hardrive downloads, her computer is fast again. Great way to back up our computers/photograghs and transfer files between our XP and Windows7. 5 |

We purchased these because we often need to console a system in the field and console using the lights out management interface isn't reliable. With this KVM Console we can use our laptops to access the console on our systems in the field instead of configuring remote console over Ethernet and relying on out of band management to access our system consoles. 5 |
