Taking Pictures In Low Light Without Flash

I am very happy with the light tent. Better than I thought it would be honestly. Taking pictures of small to medium objects. The lighting is perfect. Truthfully I ordered this by mistake instead of the three light box and it does a great job. Can take pictures hand held with no tripod the lighting is that good and very even. Would buy again and probably a bigger one down the road as the business grows.

Taking pictures for personal leisure, hence, there are situations I took picture in Low Light, Full Light environments. I personally dislike the use of Flash, this camera with 1.8 - 2.8 fast lens work very well for these environment. The LCD panel is solidly built, so is the camera body, focusing is fast, pictures are extremely sharp. I migrate from Canon G12 , the learning curve is smooth, just have to accommodate learning to use the new features. The touch screen features add a lot of fun in setting up the camera. I have this camera for almost 2 weeks now. All in all, extremely good camera. Nevertheless, the battery capacity is so so, I plan to buy a spare battery, for I know I will need it in a trip. Also, I wish Canon provides interface cable, just like in the other Canon cameras. (extre $16)

I use this lens only when I really need. Low light condition with no flash, and when I need fuzzy background, etc. But when I need it, this lens served better than any other lens I have. Light weigh and short body also are big advantages in addition to fast focus. Although I have many premium lenses and zooms, this standard lens will go everywhere I go for shooting.

I use this for sports photographer when I have to use my 70-200 lens + a flash. Without this device, the light from the flash simply will not reach my subject. This throws the light a little farther which is exactly why I bought it.

I don't like 4x3 for pictures. I have to always crop it to 3x2. Low light is good. Wide lens compare to mavic 2pro at some situations good but at some it wobe more cinematic to shoot with more narrow lens.

This lens is really great. It allows you to take clear pictures thanks to its 2.0 aperture. Low light pictures are less grainy than with the 15 - 45mm. The only cons is that it does not have image stabilizer which I already knew. Other than that I consider this lens to be a great improvement and nice to have as part of your gear.

I have been putting this lens through its paces over many different conditions, flash, Low Light, sunlight, action, videos, etc. Used a Color graduated ND filter for outdoors to enhance the sky - produces great contrast in colurs. Focus is quick, distortion is not apparent. Bokeh effect in Aperature mode is fabulous. Reflections at low light is minimal compared to other lenses. This is a great lens if you want a very cost effective alternative to a prime lense and have some flexibilty of a zoom. It is not heavy, nor cumbersome to operate.

Bought this for my husband and he is very happy with it. Taking great pictures. By the way he is 80 years old.

I used this filter to take silhouette pictures with the sun in front of me. Without this filter I wouldn't have been able to do it.
