Talent Post Office Box

Using this full apple for in-office video shoots for raising talent and supporting lights/equipment. This box is very durable, like anything you'd find in a professional grip truck.

Picked up the 11-24 at the Post Office; took few shots of the steering wheel; and drove right into the Talkeetna mountains. Having used fisheyes for year I thought I would know what to do with an 11mm rectilinear...but this lens is different. My instant favorite lens for off-trail Alaska landscapes. Image quality and sharpness are excellent. Distortion is very low. Makes incredible panoramas that don't look stretched out. Heavy...but it's also a 20, 17, 14,13 and 12mm! Once in my hands weight doesn't matter! Use the 11mm most but love the zoom!

This mic pack is great, very easy set-up out of the box and with the supplied accessories, very easy to hide away on talent. Audio files are simple to sync up with video.

I'm using this as a talk back headphone feed to my talent in a voice booth. I have a complicated multi-channel headphone mixer/amp that can give a whole band a custom mix, but there's no mic input. So I used to have a complicated setup just to have someone do a bit of narration or whatever. With this little box, you have a simple, functional setup where the talent and I can hear each other simply and without affecting the recording. The intended use is more likely to use this for actual program audio feed and monitor for a sound tech or boom operator. I'm sure it will work well for that and I intend to use it that way too. Nice to get multiple uses out of this box as compared to my previous devices that were so cumbersome to use, even for their intended purpose.

Recently used the mini soft box on an X100, boomed over a talent for a hair light during an interview. It was perfect! It is well made and quick to open.

I have been using a smaller soft box on talent, but never quite got the level of diffusion I wanted. Especially more mature women with less smooth skin. Then a film crew came in and filmed some people using this soft box and I was surprised that this slightly bigger diffuser made so much difference. Even thought it was just 1 step up, the end product was 1000X better. 5 out of 5 and not a lot of money to make things look amazing

While the US Post Office took an extra week and an half to deliver this, the item arrived and it works very well. Easy to set up and works as advertised. It's light weight means you should handle carefully, I imagine. Also, since the transmitter has no power switch (it only powers when pressing the trigger) you should do what I do and remove the batteries when it's in the bag to prevent running them down. In all, definitely worth the price.

I ordered the official mount kit for my Epson 5030 projector. It only came with a 6 extension. I rated this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it promises to do. It extends my Chief RPA mount down another foot, placing the projector exactly where I want it.While I could accomplish the same thing with a $$1.5 diameter steel gas pipe from Home Depot (yes I was actually using that). I would still need to paint the pipe white to match everything else.The Chief pipe is also aluminum, not steel, so its less weight/strain on the actual mount thats bolted to the floor joists above in the ceiling. Finally the Chief pipe has a square cut out, that can be used to hide the power/HDMI cables in. Make the installation look much neater & professional. For $23 this is pretty much a no brainer. Be advised B&H photo free super saving shipping means it will ship FedEx out of Edison, NJ to a local post office. From there the post office will deliver to you. I ordered on a Friday, received on a Thursday. So expect at least a week for arrival. If you need this item faster, use UPS ground or air. UPS ground ships from NJ/NY to VA/MD/DC in one day and was only $$more. Since I was in a rush, I should have chose that option.

The shipping was unbelievably fast and product was packaged so that it could survive anything the post office could throw at it and was in perfect condition when it arrived. As always, will continue to choose B&H over every other competitor.
